Can a bank nowdays develop on the corporate market?

The question is easy to answer both on positive and on negative way. In any case, according to the recent year’s experiences, the conclusion is that the preferential rates lured customers until they are not changing, or they cannot find some more favourable one. Therefore, we believe that the banks should intend to increase in their services, to create a new business need. The same time it generates a revenue growth, against to the loss of the offered actions.
In order to apply this point of view, we need to know the profits produced by the different company sizes for the banks, also the offered service-packages for the companies by the banks. According to these criteria, companies can rank into four categories:
1. Large companies typically receive special construction, because it is prestigious. The services are providing high-revenue beside to low-income capacity.
2. Medium-sized companies cannot get a special construction, they are choosing the bank according to their offered services. While in this segment the competition is not that sharp, the bank can increase its profit quite well.
3. Small businesses can choose among generalized services with a minimum manoeuvring margin. Small business category is a large amount, but they not have need for special services or not wish to pay much for them. However, on the service fees the bank can realize significant profit, in the case of the small companies, the choice of the financial institution is partly emotion-based, but can be influenced by the offered services as well.
4. Micro-enterprises prefer completely generalized services, occasionally with special offers. In addition, we can say that the sector's ability to produce profit, is significant.

Rating the different players on the market, can conclude the situation like this: the service development for medium size companies can produce more income and profit, but also for small companies can be beneficial. Besides increasing the revenue, the growth in profitability is also important, and the direction of the development seems to be on the field of electronically supplied services. If the bank have a go to develop, in the hope of better profit, its favourable for him, that significant changes are on the field of the harmonisation in banking standardisation, also on national and international level.
Medium and small size companies use electronic banking terminal and electronic corporate governance almost without exception. However, the support of the company's management software can not necessarily be so sophisticated as of the big companies. For this reason they can provide value added services for its costumers on the field of the support of the financial processes.
Taking into consideration the standardization and the above mentioned trends, most promising business seems to be the electronic invoice management. The function of electronic invoice management is based on the fact that if the client already has a bank account, is not necessary to visit the institution because of the change in the contractual terms. From one hand, the anti-money laundering screening of the client and his legal representative is already done. On the other hand, if he is using an electronic banking terminal, all the technical activities are given for the authorisation. The first feature to be introduced, should be the opening and closing of the sub-account. The next one should be the change of signature privileges with remote access. Finally the electrification of the documentary operations could be done.
